Myokymia
Myokymia is the term for irregular spasms of the eyelids, usually affecting the lower lid. They are not usually an indication of a major issue and are somewhat common.
Usually, they have a light, soft tugging sensation. However, you might also occasionally have spasms that cause your upper and lower lids to close.
Numerous environmental factors might cause these contractions, which usually go away when you relax.
