Causes of a scratched eye
Apart from dust particles and chemicals getting into the eyes. There are other causes of corneal abrasions, such as:
- Wearing contact lenses and wearing dirty contact lenses.
- Foreign substances in the eye such as makeup brushes, paper, and fingernails.
- Rubbing of the eyes.
