Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is an effective treatment of cancer. The therapeutic chemicals that are used to kill cancer may have specific side effects, including peripheral neuropathy. Aside from the burning feet, some other side effects of chemotherapy are muscle weakness, slowed down reflexes and motor skills, pain, tired, shaky, or achy feeling in the muscles.
Kidney Disease

When the human kidneys start malfunctioning, toxins are built up in the blood. The buildup of these toxins causes itching and swelling of the feet. Alongside the swelling of the feet, people may also feel some level of pain. Other things that kidney disease can cause are coma, seizures, confusion, and reduced urine output levels.
