Symptoms

The front of the heel is frequently where people experience heel pain. Usually, the discomfort comes on gradually and gets worse.
However, if there is a tear, the pain may be very strong. The injury may have made a popping sound, and the victim will feel agony right away.
Sites on the heel
There are certain locations where heel discomfort might occur. These could have various root causes and cures:
- The heel’s bottom: It is commonly referred to as plantar fasciitis by medical professionals. When tissues are damaged or torn by excessive pressure, pain may result, causing inflammation.
- Achilles tendon: Repetitive tension, such as from tight calf muscles or unexpectedly increased exercise activity and intensity, may cause pain in this tendon on the back of the lower leg.
- Side of the foot: Medial foot pain affects the inside edge of the heel or foot, whereas lateral foot pain affects the outside. It could be brought on by TTS, sprains, stress fractures, and other conditions.
