Cold Compress / Heat Pack

The most common home remedy for tendon injuries is a cold compress or a heat pack. The primary purpose of applying a cold pack is to numb the area and reduce Inflammation, resulting in a relief of pressure. Applying a cold pack to tendon injury helps prevent damage to the area caused by fluid accumulation.
The cold compress method is often misled. This occurs because the soft tissue of the ligament makes it more similar to a muscle injury. Therefore, applying a warm compress to your injury may offer more benefits than a cold compress. Heat compress helps boost blood flow to the damage area and provide oxygen [2] and other nutrients required for healing.
