Irritability

Excessive levels of irritability are a common experience that occurs for most individuals with anxiety. According to research, it was discovered that over 90 percent of individuals with a generalized anxiety disorder [7] reported a feeling of high levels of irritations during the period when their anxiety was at its worst level.
Irritability is closely linked to excessive worry, which makes it relatable. Some common causes of irritability apart from anxiety include sleep deprivation, low blood sugar, ear infections, toothaches, flu, respiratory disorders, and diabetes-related symptoms.
Tense Muscles
Tense muscles may signify an anxiety symptom, primarily when it occurs on most days of the week. Tense muscles are quite common in individuals with and without anxiety, and research hasn’t proved why this symptom causes anxiety.
Tense muscles may be a significant reason for an increase in anxiety, or it occurs due to anxiety. Using muscle relaxation therapy to treat muscle tension proves to be effective by reducing worry in individuals with a generalized anxiety disorder. According to some studies [8], muscle relaxation therapy is equally essential as cognitive behavioral therapy.
