Different Types and Symptoms of Mesothelioma

Fatigue

Fatigue is a feeling of persistent and extreme tiredness that often is not resolved with rest. In people with this type of cancer, it may happen because of reduced supply to the body caused by lung inefficiency. The muscles and other organs of the body depend on oxygen for energy. When the oxygen supply is affected by mesothelioma, the amount of energy available to the body suffers. This can present as weakness and fatigue.

Other symptoms [5] of pleural mesothelioma include fever and night sweats, difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), body aches, loss of appetite, and unplanned weight loss.
