Gastroparesis Food Tips and Stages

Foods to Avoid

Limit high-fat foods

Foods for poor gastroparesis are foods that are high in fat [9]. Consequently, fat can delay the emptying of food in the stomach, so this type of food should be limited. But this does not mean that fat is prohibited, fat is still essential, and therefore choose foods that contain healthy fats. Fat-containing liquids such as smoothies or milkshakes are easier to digest than fat in solid foods. Limiting your intake of fatty meats and high-fat dairy products can also help relieve symptoms that occur.

When food choices for gastroparesis are good and as recommended, but symptoms never go away, a doctor should be consulted. Maybe when this happens, your body needs special treatment.
