These drugs help destroy replicating cells, which include cancer cells. They are also used to destroy other vital cells in your body that rapidly replicate, including cells in your skin, gastrointestinal tract, and hair follicles. It consists of the medications folinic acid, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin. Scientists divide this therapy into different groups, such as FOLFOX-4, FOLFOX-6, and FOLFOX-7.
