Few studies have been conducted on reflexology. And many professionals believe that the ones that do exist are of poor quality. Reflexology was found in a 2014 review to be ineffective for treating any medical ailment.
Similar to massage, it might be useful as a supplemental therapy to help people feel better and reduce their symptoms. For other persons, the fact that the feet are being massaged will result in even greater tension or discomfort relief.
