Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) Symptoms and Stages

Stage of Premenstrual Syndrome

It should be noted that the described list of PMS symptoms in women is not complete, because signs of pathology depend on the general condition of the body, as well as its individual characteristics. In addition, the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome in women appear depending on the stage of the disease, which can be:

      • Minor symptoms before menstruation, which do not develop with age.
      • The pronounced symptom complex is aggravated over the years.
      • All signs are severe and also persist until the end of menstruation.

If manifestation is limited to only 2-3 symptoms from this list, then it is a mild form [12] of PMS. If you are familiar with 5 signs of PMS or more, or fewer symptoms, but they are pronounced and start expression felt 2 weeks before the onset of menstruation, then this is already a severe type [13] of PMS.
