The gentle forward fold promotes relaxation and inner awareness. It helps to stretch your spine, hip, and glutes. It also helps alleviate tension, cramping, and stress. To perform the pose, you can place a cushion under your forehead, torso, or legs.

  1. Start on your hands and knees
  2. Lower your hips and place them on your heels
  3. Place your knees together or slightly wider than your hips
  4. Hinge at your hips to fold forward
  5. Extend your arms in front of or alongside your body
  6. Maintain the position for up to 5 minutes
