The following fruits are included in a plant based diet: berries, citrus fruits, bananas, apples, grapes, melons, and avocado.
For a plant based diet to be healthy and complete, it must contain a lot of vegetables. Vegetables are filled with lots of good vitamins and nutrients, examples include: broccoli, peppers, kale, carrots, cauliflower, tomatoes, beetroots, zucchini, and asparagus.
Also important are root vegetables. They also provide a good amount of carbohydrates and nutrients. They include: beets, potatoes, and butternut squash.
