While it’s acceptable to have ice in your drinks, you shouldn’t chew on it while you’re wearing braces. Chewing on ice is, in fact, one of the most frequent causes of broken braces.

You certainly don’t have to cut out all fruit and vegetable consumption. Raw carrots, pears, and apples should be avoided, on the other hand, as should other crisp fruits and vegetables.

Your braces may become looser if you eat these chewy breads because they can catch on them and catch the brackets and wires. A bagel can be torn into bite-sized pieces and consumed by using your back teeth if you must take a bite right away. But avoiding them entirely is really the best course of action.
