Medicare-For-All vs. Single Payer: What You Need To Know

Expansion from Medicare to Medicare for All

Medicare and Medicare-For-All are different. Expanding Medicare into Medicare-For-All requires some changes. Some of these changes may include:

  • Reduction in the price of medications and provision of alternative drugs.
  • No payment of monthly premium.
  • The medical bills of all the citizens of the country are covered.

All of these changes are required when trying to expand Medicare into Medicare-for-all. If you are enrolled into any other health insurance programs, all of it will be replaced by Medicare-for-all.
