Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a popular folk remedy. It is recommended for everything from weight loss to blood sugar regulation to digestive problems. While the evidence is sometimes hard to weigh, some studies have found that it can help boost fat metabolism and reduce belly fat in animals [15]. This effect is credited to acetic acid, the main active ingredient in vinegar.
Research involving humans is scarce. In one study [16], over a hundred obese men consumed two spoons of apple cider vinegar every day for 12 weeks. The men lost an average of 3.7 pounds and 0.9 percent of their body fat.
These results are promising, but more studies are needed to determine the effectiveness of this vinegar.
