Anesthesiologist
In some cases, women receive some sort of anesthetic during labor. This anesthetic could be a spinal, epidural or any other drugs that help to reduce pain during surgery. An anesthesiologist or nurse anesthetist help to provide and administer the drug to the woman. They are always informed about any health history or underlying conditions before birth, so they what kind of anesthetic to use or avoid. Anesthetics [4] are mostly used if a cesarean section [5] will be done, to prevent the woman from feeling pains. Anesthesiologist administer more intravenous drugs than other kinds of physicians. They have adequate knowledge on the potency of a particular medication before administering to a patient. Women are able to under caesarian safely without feeling pain. They use specialized techniques to achieve this, such as controlled reducing of the blood pressure to reduce loss of blood and need for transfusion.
