COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

An inhaled version of astragalus increased forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1 [4]) and FEV1/forced vital capacity (FVC) measurements of breathing 14 days after treatment in trials of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
It also reportedly helped those with acute COPD exacerbations’ immune systems, according to researchers. Before suggesting astragalus for COPD, however, more research is required.
Diabetes complications (Diabetic kidney disease)
There has been study on astragalus for use in diabetic kidney disease. A systematic review and meta-analysis of studies suggested that both oral and injectable astragalus may reduce urine protein and serum creatinine levels in diabetic kidney disease. More research is needed to confirm this study.
