Spider Bites

Identifying a spider bite [4] is tougher if one doesn’t notice the type of spider that bit them but there are common signs associated with spider bites. This consists of two puncture marks where the spider has bitten the individual, as well as swelling and redness of the skin. Blisters and itching often accompany spider bites. Most spiders don’t bite unless they feel threatened or are attacked. While most spider bites are non-poisonous, bites from spiders such as the brown recluse or black widow can be severe and threatening; seek immediate medical attention if you have been or you suspect these spiders have bitten you.
