Yellow Stool

An enormous amount of fat in the body makes the poop yellow. This condition is referred to as steatorrhea, or kind of greasy-looking, and this can be because the rate of producing enzymes or bile is low and there might be absorption issues in the body. Also, people suffering from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and taking the medication often have yellow poop. The taking of food items such as carrots, turmeric, carrots, or sweet potatoes can also be a reason for having yellow poop.
In situations in which there is a sudden change in poop color to yellow, this can serve as a sign of an intestinal infection [5], especially if the person has a fever, flu, and diarrhea-like symptoms, or stomach cramps. A small intestine infection, popularly known as giardiasis, is caused by the parasite giardia lamblia. It can also result in one having a yellow stool.
