Brilinta is a tablet that is taken through the mouth. This tablet is available in two strengths which are 60 milligrams and 90 milligrams.

Brilinta Dosage and Overdose

Your prescribed dosage will depend on what medical condition you are taking it for, and you’re a proper review of your medical history by your doctor. Brilinta is taken chiefly twice a day. And to be taken for as long as your doctor recommends depends on your condition. For some conditions, your doctor will recommend taking a loading dose of brilliant. A loading dose is a higher dose prescribed when you first start treatment. This is to get more of the drug into your system to enable the medication to start working faster.

In the case of an overdose, you should immediately visit your doctor. And if the person is experiencing severe symptoms such as fainting or difficulty breathing, you should call your emergency center. Symptoms of brilinta overdose include nausea, severe bleeding, diarrhea, vomiting and irregular heartbeat.
