Dry Eye

Dry eye syndrome is a condition that occurs when your eyes don’t release sufficient tears for lubrication.
Symptoms of dry eye include:
- Blurry vision [6]
- Redness
- Feeling that grit or sand is stuck in your eye
- Tearing
- Pain
Your eyes produce artificial tears that can help reduce the redness. Staying away from windy places and spending more time in places with a humidifier can also help prevent redness. Also, you are more susceptible to dry eye if you work on a computer regularly. You can give your eyes a break every 20 minutes to prevent exacerbation of symptoms.
