Difference between keratitis and uveitis

The distinction between keratitis and uveitis is where the inflammation is located. Uveitis attacks the uvea, although the signs and symptoms are identical.
The iris, the choroid, and the ciliary body are all parts of the central layer of the eye, or uvea. Your cornea, the covering that protects your iris, is impacted by keratitis.
Pink eye (conjunctivitis) [1] is another eye illness with comparable signs and symptoms. The conjunctiva, which lines the eyelids, is impacted.
If the inflammation affects both the cornea and the conjunctiva, you can develop keratoconjunctivitis. A minor variant of this illness frequently affects children.
