Why Is Dry Eyes Worse in the Summer and How to Manage It?

You lose a lot of water during the summer through sweating. This can become dangerous if the sweat rolls to the eyes because it contains several bacteria found in the face. When it gets to the eyes, it causes irritation and worsens the symptoms of dry eye.

In most cases, people use sunscreen during the summer when they are going out. They are used to protect the skin against dangerous ultraviolet rays.  Sunscreen contains some harmful elements that can cause damage to the eyes if it comes in contact. When they get to the eyes, they can impede the activities of several glands in the eyes causing dry eye.
