Bone Cancer
Generally, cancer describes a group of diseases that involves abnormal cell growth that potentially spreads to other parts of the body. Bone cancer [3] may occur in any bone in the entire body, including the legs. However, the condition is rare and makes up less than one percent of all cancers.
When bone cancer occurs in the leg, the individual may notice swelling and tenderness close to the leg. Also, the legs will be weak and may lead to fractures. There are some types of bone cancer that occurs mostly in children, with the others affecting adults. The typical treatment for bone cancer is the use of chemotherapy.
