If you are down with a runny nose, persistent cough, constant sneezing, watery eyes, itchy eyes and nose, amongst other symptoms, you may have allergic rhinitis. It is a common infection that affects the nose. Fever itself is not a symptom of hay fever but other distinct signs as listed above help diagnose hay fever infection. Symptoms usually go away with adequate treatment but if left untreated, symptoms may remain and become long-lasting.
