Olive Oil

Olive is a fluid fat extracted from olives, a native tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin that contains a high level of monounsaturated fatty acids. Due to its constituents, it can play a major role in the activation of several signalling processes in the liver cells that help to prevent inflammation of the cells, oxidative damage, and mitochondria malfunction in the liver.
This helps, in no small way, to keep the liver function. Also, several studies have shown that diets rich in olive oil help to maintain the normal functions of the liver by preventing insulin resistance which may cause accumulation of fats in the liver.
