Brussels sprout is a member of the Gemmifera Group of cabbages. They include high levels of many nutrients, and they are connected to lots of health benefits. Besides, they are low in calories but high in minerals, fiber, and vitamins. Seventy-eight grams of cooked Brussels sprouts contains 28 calories, 6 grams of carbs, and 2 grams of fiber. Due to the high levels of antioxidants in Brussels sprout, it helps against certain types of cancers. In a 2008 study [6], it was discovered that Brussels sprouts help against carcinogens and other cancer-causing agents and prevent oxidative damage to cells.

Overall, fiber is a crucial nutrient that promotes weight loss, reduces blood sugar levels, and helps against constipation by easing digestion. In most cases, individuals don’t meet the daily recommendation of fiber, which is 25 grams for women and 38 grams for men.
