Green Tea and Peppers

Green tea, including matcha green tea, is reputed to be one of the healthiest brews. According to studies, drinking green tea can lower your risk of developing heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s disease [2], obesity [3], and other diseases.
Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), in particular, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities that account for many of its advantages. By lowering the generation of pro-inflammatory cytokines and preventing damage to the fatty acids in your cells, EGCG prevents inflammation.
The antioxidants and vitamin C in bell and chilli peppers have potent anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, bell peppers contain the antioxidant quercetin, which may lessen inflammation related to long-term conditions like diabetes.
Sinapic acid and ferulic acid, which are found in chili peppers, may help to reduce inflammation and promote better aging.
