Turmeric

A common ingredient in curries and other Indian cuisine is turmeric, mostly for its warm, earthy flavor. Due to the presence of curcumin, a potent anti-inflammatory substance, it has drawn a lot of interest.
Turmeric has been found in studies to lessen inflammation brought on by diabetes, arthritis, and other disorders. People who had metabolic syndrome in one trial took piperine from black pepper along with 1 gram of curcumin daily. The CRP inflammatory marker significantly dropped in these people.
It could be challenging to obtain enough curcumin from turmeric on its own to feel a meaningful effect. It can be considerably more effective to take pills with isolated curcumin.
Piperine, a component of many curcumin formulations, can increase curcumin absorption by 2000%. More study is required to better understand how turmeric affects inflammatory markers.
