Legumes

The legume family includes foods that contain high levels of potassium, such as peanuts, soybeans, chickpeas, and lentils. For example, 1 cup (198-gram) serving of lentils offers 15% of the daily value of potassium. The same servings of peanuts, soybeans, and chickpeas offer 23%, 19%, and 10% of the daily value respectively. Some legumes, such as chickpeas and lentils contain phytates [5]. So, it is important to soak them in water overnight to reduce their phytate content. You can also sprout them.
