Black Beans

All beans–white, brown, black–are very nutritious, but black beans are the best choice among them in terms of magnesium. Black turtle beans–full name–are known to have up to 120mg of magnesium per cup, and this is the highest amount of magnesium among the three types of beans. Black turtle beans are something of all-rounders as they have a wide variety of other nutrients within them, besides magnesium. They have calcium, phosphorus, sodium, iron, potassium, zinc, and all the vitamins, both essential and non-essential (Vitamins A-K).
