Conclusion

You become eligible for Medicare insurance when you are 65 and above. If you are still working at the age of 65 and you are covered by your employer’s health plan, you can decide to delay your enrollment into Medicare insurance. You will however pay a fine for the delay. Rejecting Medicare insurance is very possible but it is complicated. You will be denied access to benefits from the Social Security Administration and Railroad Retirement Board.
