Income limits
Your monthly income must be on a certain level if you want to be under the QMB plan. The income limit often depends on your marital status. In 2021, the income limit used by most companies are:
- Individual: $1,094 per month
- Married: $1,472 per month
Alaska and Hawaii have higher monthly income limits. As a result, you can still qualify for QMB if you live in these States and your income is higher. When it comes to the QMB program, your monthly income increases every year. Therefore, you have to continuously enroll in the program, even if your income increases slightly.
