Massage

Massage is an effective way to treat physical pain and muscle cramps. Get a friend or an expert to gently rub the muscle that is in spasm. If the cramp persists for a long period, you can pinch the area around it hard and hold the pinch for some minutes. You may have to get someone else to pinch you if you can’t reach the affected area.
Hyperventilation
A 2016 study on people who used hyperventilating at 20 to 30 breaths per minute to resolve cramps that occurred due to an exercise felt relieved. Hyperventilation [6] occurs when you breathe harder and faster than normal. If you have anxiety, it would help to avoid hyperventilating as it can cause panic and worsen your muscle cramp.
