10 Proprioception Exercises for Balance and Strength

Tightrope Walk

It is a great exercise to improve posture, strength and balance. It is also called funambulism. [5] It involves walking on a rope or straight line without falling to either of your sides.

Steps: First of all, tape a straight line that is 1-2 meters long on the floor. Place your hands on your hips and stand on your feet hip-width apart. Place one foot on the rope and the other directly in front of it and walk on the rope. Walk to the end of the rope and then walk back towards the starting point. Repeat this process 3-4 times and alternatively use a string wire or rope.
