For instance, Oysters contain specifically high amounts of zinc, with six average sizes offering 291% of the DV. Aside from Oysters, other forms of shellfish have lower levels of zinc. In 100 grams of Alaskan crab, 69% of the DV is present. It is advised that pregnant women consume well-cooked shellfish to lower the risks of food poisoning.
