Is Medicare Mandatory?

Can You Reject Medicare Insurance?

Rejecting medicare insurance is not so easy despite the fact that it is not mandatory. Rejecting all Medicare insurance is possible but Medicare A [5] and B are the major core of medicare insurance and rejecting any of these come with a lot of penalties. One of the penalties involves withdrawal of all monthly benefits.

Another major consequence of declining Medicare insurance, especially Medicare A and B is that you are denied access to the benefits of Social Security. If you have used the Medicare insurance initially before quitting, you will be asked to refund all of the benefits you have received while you were using the insurance.
