Which Drugs Are Not Covered?
Not all drugs prescribed to you are covered by the Medicare prescription drug plans. For these drugs, you will have to pay from your own pocket. Some drugs that are not covered by this plan include:
- Drug used to treat anorexia nervosa [4] and weight loss or gain
- Drugs used for the treatment of fertility issues
- Vitamins and minerals
- Drugs given for cosmetic reasons
