Mono-sodium glutamate (MSG) is mostly found in Asian foods to enhance the taste. Asides from the many adverse reactions to this substance, such as nausea, heart palpitations, and headache, there is a more dangerous reaction, which is inflammation. MSG has been linked to chronic inflammations and to worsen symptoms of arthritis and age-related bone problems. Gluten, on the other hand, causes inflammation in the body as an allergic reaction.
